Adult First Appointment
On your first visit to our office, you will meet with our Treatment Coordinator who will review your medical and dental history and clinically assess the current status of your periodontal health.

Dr. Kinney or Dr. Musser will perform a complete examination of your teeth and soft tissue, including an evaluation of your bite and jaw function, oral cancer screening, periodontal probing (evaluation for gum disease), photographs and an intra-oral camera tour. Films (x-rays) and diagnostic models will be taken depending on your needs. We reserve 90 minutes for your appointment.

Treatment recommendations will be made at a separate consultation appointment with our Treatment Coordinator. We will take the time to thoroughly discuss our diagnosis and answer your questions.

Subsequent appointments are scheduled according to the specific procedures needed.

If your initial visit to our office involves a dental emergency, we will handle the emergency first and then proceed with the examination at another time.

Young Adult First Appointment
We feel it is important that you understand your current dental health as well as the options available for further treatment. Your continued and active involvement is vital in optimizing your dental health.

On your first visit to our office, you will meet with our Hygienist who will review your dental and medical history, as well as perform a prophylaxis (teeth cleaning). Dr. Kinney or Dr. Musser will perform a thorough examination of your teeth and surrounding tissue and review the diagnosis and treatment recommendations. If x-rays or fluoride and indicated, they will be completed at this appointment. We request that you reserve 90 minutes for this appointment.

At the end of the first appointment, we will reserve an appointment time for the next prophylaxis. Appointments for additional treatment recommendations may also be scheduled.

Child First Appointment
Your understanding of your child's current dental health and treatment options is of utmost importance. Your continued and active involvement is vital in optimizing your child's dental health.

On your child's first visit to our office, you will meet with our Hygienist who will review your child's dental and medical history with you, as well as perform a prophylaxis (teeth cleaning). Dr. Kinney or Dr. Musser will perform a thorough examination of your child's teeth and surrounding tissue and review the diagnosis and treatment recommendations. If x-rays or fluoride and indicated, they will be completed at this appointment. We request that you reserve 90 minutes for you and your child for this appointment.

At the end of the first appointment, we will reserve an appointment time for your child's next prophylaxis. Appointments for additional treatment recommendations may also be scheduled.
